Nelson Shin（世界动画协会副会长，动画电影《变形金刚》导演）

Nelson Shin

　　Nelson Shin是韩国的动画家，动画导演。他导演过电影《变形金刚》，是AKOM工作室的创建者和所有人。最近，他为电影《Susan Blu》和《Flint Dille》录制了一部DVD解说片。他的工作室主要是为美国的电视连续剧制作动画，AKOM工作室的主要作品有：《辛普森一家》、《X战警》、《入侵美国》和《王者无敌》。Shin最得意的作品是他导演的日本电视连续剧和电影《变形金刚》，AKOM的首席动画家是Kim Jun-bok。

　　Shin自1999年开始制作动画故事片《成皇后》，该电影主要在北朝鲜完成动画创作，2005年8月在南北朝鲜同时首映，这在历史上尚属首次。

　　Although he has enjoyed enormous success in the animation field, Shin never received any training. Born in North Korea, he left his hometown and moved South during the upheaval of the Korean War when he was 13 years old.

　　AKOM studio now creates many of its own original characters and recently released the animated film "Emperess Chung." Hailed as a step towards greater unity on the Korean peninsula, the film saw a rare collaboration between North and South Korean animators and actors.
